Project Zeme
Case Study by Matt Ascough
Project Zeme has begun only by chance. I was not actively looking to start a new project however, stumbling across an aged domain in a niche I have had my eyes on for sometime presented an opportunity I couldn’t resist.
This is an interesting project mainly due to 3 core factors;
- I am utilising an aged domain that is highly on topic;
- it’s UK based and;
- It’s in a niche that is growing very rapidly.
I am very excited to compare this project against Project Axion as they differ extensively in terms of starting out completely fresh (Axion) and hitting the ground running (Zeme). Project Zeme seems to tick all the boxes in terms of identifying a positive niche with increasing opportunities, utilising an aged domain, and investigating the history of the domain to ensure no pre-existing issues, ie penalties, spamming, phishing etc.
The plan for this project is to basically replicate the framework from Project Axion which will both save time and costs. The site is lightweight, mobile friendly and visually appealing so it makes sense to reuse for Zeme and future projects.
The plan
Due to using an aged domain, we can hit the ground running with this project and get as much informational content and money pages online as soon as possible.
- General information on topic blog articles
- Build Money pages linking mainly to Amazon UK
- Social signals
- Internal linking
- Identify quality affiliate programs for popular products
- Outreach & Link Building
